Barça linked with Liverpool ace Suarez

Barcelona want to take advantage of the sacking of Liverpool manager Kenny Daglish by moving  for Luis Suarez according to AS.com.

The Uruguay international scored 17 goals for Liverpool last season and has emerged as a target of new Barcelona manager Tito Vilanova according to the Spanish sports daily who quote a report from Caught Offside.

With David Villa still struggling with injury Barça want to strenghten their forward line after a reliance on their Argentine star Lionel Messi, who scored a stunning 50 league goals last season.

Barcelona are keen to take advantage of the fact that Liverpool sacked manager Kenny Dalglish yesterday after a poor league position and Suarez was also recently quoted in Marca as she he ‘wanted to play in Spain someday’.

However, Liverpool’s owners will try to keep their main asset  after a poor season and Luis Suarez is likely to feature in the plans of whoever replaces Dalglish in the Anfield hotseat.
