Iker Muniain
After an astonishing breakout season under Marcelo Bielsa last campaign, Muniain has been one of the biggest problems amongst an abundance of issues for Athletic Bilbao. The drop off has been large and Muniain has struggled for form without a goal to his name this season and only one assist.
His performances in last season’s Europa League drew a great deal of attention from outsiders, as did a call up to Spain’s first team, the interest in team mates Javi Martinez and Fernando Llorente was no doubt unsettling and with a contract situation more promiscuous than the majority of the squad Muniain is likely to be the next player European clubs try their hand at buying.
