RONALDO WANTS MAN UNITED SUMMER RETURN

Former Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo could be set for a dramatic return to England according to media reports.

Sir Alex Ferguson was reluctant to let Ronaldo leave Old Trafford in the summer of 2009 but Real Madrid’s record €85 million offer made the decision for United.

However English newspaper, The Sunday Express claim the 27-year-old Portuguese international has told friends he wants to move back to England as he believes his time with Jose Mourinho’s side has become tarnished in recent weeks.

The news will also have alerted Manchester City and a bidding war could ensue between the two rivals.

Ronaldo has made little secret of his love for United however and would favour a return to Old Trafford and a reunion with former mentor Ferguson.
