SUAREZ SET FOR SUMMER TUG OF WAR IN SPAIN AND ITALY

Liverpool’s Luis Suarez is set to be the focus of a summer transfer battle between Real Madrid and Italian giants Juventus say media reports.

Recently claims suggested Suarez had told Kenny Dalglish he wanted to leave Anfield following his racism row,  and the player was closely linked with a switch to la liga side Real Madrid last week.

However the Daily Star now claim Serie A side Juventus have targeted the Uruguayan striker as their number one transfer during the summer.

Juve are currently top of the table in Italy and boss Antonio Conte is already looking ahead in an effort to further strengthen his side.

Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho faces an uncertain future however, as recent reports claim he is ready to quit the Spanish club, leaving any move for Suarez on hold.

Liverpool play Manchester United in one of the player’s first games back from an eight match suspension imposed for racially abusing United’s Patrice Evra.
