FORWARDS

Falcao (Atlético): The tiger has clearly got his claws dug  into La Liga history this season, scoring five goals in one game and keeping Atlético in the La Liga title fight as they sit in second place. Second only to Lionel Messi in goals with 17, the Colombian hitman scores on average every 3,4 shots – the best mark among La Liga players with more than 20 shots on target.

Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid): Second only to Messi, Ronaldo is having another fantastic season in Madrid. The Portuguese star has scored 16 goals while assisting three. CR7 leads the league in shots with 138 and in shots on target with 58. Together with Messi, Ronaldo is one of only two La Liga players who have scored a goal and an assist in three occasions so far.

Lionel Messi (Barcelona): A player who has just picked up his fourth consecutive Ballon D’Or obviously wouldn’t be absent from this list. Messi, Falcao and Ronaldo are definitely the three best strikers in the world right now, but it is Messi who is currently a level above everyone else. No other La Liga player has produced (goals and assists) 20 goals so far this season, Messi has already produced 33. Leading all strikers in goals with 27 and assists with six. The Argentine’s season has been beyond magical, he is currently in an eight game scoring streak and in twelve matches so far this season he has scored two or more goals.
