TOTTENHAM SET TO SWOOP FOR ROSSI?

Tottenham Hotspur could be on the verge of a double transfer deal involving Giovanni Dos Santos and Giuseppe Rossi, according to press reports today.

Spurs are looking to off-load Dos Santos and the White Hart Lane club could use Villarreal’s interest in the Mexican as part of a swoop for Rossi.

Harry Redknapp is a long-time admirer of the Italian international and the Yellow Submarine’s pursuit of Dos Santos could prove the make-weight in any deal.

Rossi is widely expected to leave El Madrigal in the summer, with Spurs said to be among the favourites for the sought-after striker according to the reports.
