Javi Martinez is an exceptional defensive midfielder who can also play as a central defender. The World Cup and under 21 European Champion is tall 1.90 (6ft 3) and  has great athleticism, pace and covers a lot ground. He intercepts and steals many passes, is a good tackler, and posseses fantastic stamina and endurance. Martinez is also technically gifted, can pass the ball well and can also find the back of the net on occasion. Real Madrid have shown a lot of interest in the past as well as some of the biggest cubs in England.
