Javi Marquez Espanyol to Mallorca
Under the guidance of Joaquin Caparros, Mallorca finished just 3 points off a Europa League spot and they’ll be looking for similar next season. The signing of Javi Marquez will no doubt help them, having snared him from Espanyol in exchange for Sergio Tejera.
Marquez is a real coup for the Islanders, as he was being linked with Atletico Madrid and Valencia after some stellar performances in Espanyol’s midfield. He possesses great quality with his left foot and will prove to be a valuable asset for Mallorca, and swapping him for a bit-part player is great business.
