MALAGA LINKED TO €30M BARÇA STAR

Barcelona star Thiago Alcantara is the subject of growing rumours in Spain following claims that big spending Malaga are about to test the Catalan club’s resolve wit a €30 million offer for the attacking midfielder.

The story came from el Diario de Malaga columnist Juan Jesus Fernandez, who wrote the Andalucian club were looking to bring the Italian-born Spanish international to the south coast.

Fernandez goes on the claim Malaga were preparing a €30 million offer for the player in the hope that it would persuade Barca to agree to the move.

Thiago has become a key member of Pep Guardiola’s squad however and it seems highly unlikely the club would sanction the departure of one of their most valuable young players.
